Sketching is a very individual way to express the ideas

My drawings are the expression of ideas that I want to realize somewhere in the landscape, or they show how I read landscapes and turn them into a sketch.

As you can imagine, in over four decades of experience, many ideas, sketches and projects have been created. Many of them were neither realized nor selected for a competition. So they disappear unpublished, although many of them are worth to be presented.

The selection presented here represents sculptural as well as landscape design works. I have never tried to separate these two elements, as I think design is always a hybrid way of thinking.

The structure and form of the existing environment and, of course, the wishes and ideas of the users or customers let us act as mediators and transformers between the place and the users.
